Hat Attack was launched from a Manhattan apartment in 1981 by husband-and-wife team Bill and BJ Gedney, who hatched a plan to sell baseball caps with the logos of iconic New York City restaurants.
The Made in USA hats are hand blocked, cut, sewn, and hand trimmed in the Bronx factory using carved wood blocks that have been collected over time and are part of Hat Attack’s history. Every hat and accessory that is shipped from our home headquarters in the Bronx is handled individually and each step of the process is done with thoughtfulness and care to maintain the integrity of the style.
